Most recently, I submitted a press release about the new single and video by Beu Sisters. Hope you’ve found this information helpful and you check out Beu Sisters.
The new single and video, “Definition of a Lady,” from Top 40 Recording Artists Beu Sisters is available May 31. Candice, Christie and Danielle Beu, sisters, singers and songwriters, have captured their playful journey of self-expression and creative empowerment with both elegance and beu-ty.
“Definition of a Lady” is the first single off their upcoming sophomore release, “Beu-tiful: Vol. I,” part of their compilation, “A Collection of Beu-tiful Music.” Through their own label, Beach Breakz Records, Beu Sisters produced, wrote, arranged and recorded all 32 songs on the six EPs. In “Beu-tiful: Vol. I, II & III,” the EPs appear in their original form, flavor and content (with original artwork by Danielle Beu). In “Beu-tiful InVersions: Vol. I, II, & III,” the EPs deliver a palette cleanser with every track masterfully stripped to the bare essentials, revealing the intricacies of harmony, select instrumentation and lyrical content.
Beu Sisters are a self-contained trio, expressing a pop urban sound that blends mystical melodies and affirmative recitations over neo-symphonic beats. The artistic rendering of orchestral, three-part harmony creates the dynamic foundation of a unique and refreshing musical experience. In 2002, their debut album “Decisions” was released by S-Curve Records and received rave reviews. As singers and songwriters, the sisters soon garnered numerous movie and television soundtracks. After quickly becoming a Disney fan favorite, the sisters expanded their existing fan base by opening for “American Idol” Alums Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken on a 32-city tour. Facilitated a phone interview for Debbie Gibson with Licia Avelar from Long Island Press. They discussed her upcoming gala for her non-profit organization Gibson Girl Foundation and concert with Tiffany.
I secured interview for client Debbie Gibson with Newsday’s Pop Music Writer Glenn Gamboa. The article was published in the paper as well as online.
Debbie Gibson has a lot going on.
She’s planning her first tour with fellow ’80s teen sensation Tiffany, which stops at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on July 29. She’s working on a new album, which she believes will be her ” Tina Turner comeback moment” later this year. And she’s looking for more acting roles like last year’s successful “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” movie.
But the Merrick native also is looking to give back, through her Electric Youth Summer Camp and her new Gibson Girl Foundation, which will hold its inaugural gala Monday at Oheka Castle in Huntington .
What made you want to start Gibson Girl Foundation?
Times are tough. A lot of schools don’t have money for the arts anymore, on Long Island especially. My parents somehow managed to pay for lessons, but it’s gotten harder. When the choice is between putting food on the table and dance class, we know what’s going to give. My foundation lets students apply for financial aid to go to whatever arts summer camp they get into. It could be in Asia; it could be in Idaho . We want to help them do it.
Why hold a gala?
I really wanted to bring it home. I wanted to honor the place where I had my artistic upbringing and honor some who have contributed to the foundation and have a few of the kids from my summer camp perform.
You’ve also gotten Merrick ‘s Robbie Rosen on board.
It’s nice to see another Long Islander done good. . . . His “Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word” was so stunning, so he’ll do that and we’re going to duet on a song. It’s going to be a really fun, festive, inspirational event.

Please welcome Beu Sisters to the Buzz Entertainment Public Relations (PR) client roster and share the love. Here’s the official bio I wrote:
“Our inspirations come from the universal one song of LOVE. Through unity, ingenuity, creativity, joy and grace, we hope to heal lives and touch hearts.” ~ Beu Sisters
Born into a musical family, Candice, Christie and Danielle Beu learned from an early age to appreciate and understand all aspects of the entertainment industry. The sisters, encouraged by their parents, Broadway veterans (“A Chorus Line”), steadily developed their collective and individual talents.
In 1988, the Beu family (parents and eight siblings) left the bright lights of New York City for the serene sounds of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. By the end of the ‘90s, the parents divorced and the sisters unified through music, performing on stage with their mother, opening for major artists like Billy Ray Cyrus and Bo Diddley. They soon came to the attention of Award-Winning Songwriter Desmond Child (Kiss, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith). He introduced them to Record Producer Steve Greenberg and the sisters became the second act signed to S-Curve Records.
In 2002, their debut album “Decisions” was released and received rave reviews. Billboard Magazine wrote, “While the environment for instantly accessible melodic music is often hostile at top 40 radio these days, one must remain optimistic that true talent will rise to the top. THE BEU SISTERS demonstrate enormous versatility on their upcoming, DECISIONS. All involved should pop the champagne cork for an effort that radiates joy, humor, passion, and artful, unaffected singing. These gals are simply wonderful.”
As singers and songwriters, the sisters soon garnered numerous movie and television soundtracks: “The Lizzie McGuire Movie” (double platinum); “Home on the Range”; “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days”; “Because of Winn Dixie”; “Ella Enchanted”; “Smallville”; “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”; “Gilmore Girls”; and, “Charmed.” Quickly becoming a Disney fan favorite, the sisters were featured on “The Disney Channel,” Disney’s 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Hollywood Bowl, “Disneymania In Concert” (hosted by Raven Simone), and a handful of Disney albums. They then expanded their existing fan base by opening for “American Idol” Alums Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken on a 32-city tour.
It was at this point in their blossoming career the tides shifted. The sisters were signed to an entertainment deal with Sony/Columbia Records, but delays led them, as a family, to the unanimous decision to go back home to their seaside town. They found themselves waiting tables, teaching vocal lessons, gardening and cleaning homes, and performing around town. During these lean times, they also found themselves putting down roots, growing families, and cultivating a new vision for their creative dream.
Today, Beu Sisters are a self-contained trio, expressing a pop urban sound that blends mystical melodies, heavenly harmonies and theatrical, life-affirming recitations over neo-symphonic beats. The first single and video, “Definition of a Lady,” captures their journey of self-expression and creative empowerment with both elegance and beu-ty. Now, through their own label, Beach Breakz Records, Beu Sisters produced, wrote, arranged and recorded all 15 songs off their upcoming sophomore album “Beu-Tiful.” For more information, visit www.BeuSisters.com.
